Sherrod Brown's winning independents 48/44, even as Barack Obama's losing them 50/46:

Sherrod Brown's approval is 47/44. Josh Mandel's favorability is 38/51- very unpopular candidate:

there are an unholy number of Josh Mandel signs up here (east of Cleveland suburbs), more than Romney, in my area. I don't get it, but as long as the manchild Mandel doesn't get it, I'm fine.

So perhaps it's overestimating his support by a few points, who knows. But it looks like Brown will beat Mandel, and Nate Silver says so too in his Senate model.

Most of the Ohio papers have endorsed Brown and have reprimanded Mandel for his bizarre behavior this year.

Some of Mandel's comments this week supporting Mourdock probably didn't help either.

high school punk that needs to be taken behind gym for an ass kicking. I'll settle for Brown doing it on the 6th.

Wish Obama was running at the same pace as Brown. What anyone can see in Robme aside from unmitigated disaster is beyond me.

I really like Sherrod Brown and really despise that pompous little weasel Mandel.

I sincerely hope he crushes Mandel and drives him out of politics.

It doesn't matter though. Sherrod will get the last laugh.

He has been really good for Ohio.

LOL. That was about a month ago. A win by Sherrod against that junior high candidate would be oh so sweet.

(I confess I check into Faux News from time to time to see what they are up to.) It's not easy.

will win and win handily. Its awesome. We need more strong liberals like him in the Senate. He is in the same category as Franken and soon to be Senator Warren.

Brown could have taken on a stronger opponent candidate and still won, but how in the world did Ohio Republicans come to settle for this brazen little twit in a year they were hoping to regain control of the Senate?
