(56 posts)The word is "bate," meaning:
"To moderate or restrain (a variation of "abate" : to bate one's enthusiasm, and, "to lessen or diminish," and "with bated breath - in a state of suspenseful anticipation."
Happy to clear that up. Carry on.

(25,415 posts)Time is 5% and CNN is at 4%. Even ARG and Purple Strategies have it at 2% for Obama.
Gravely Faketing has the president by 1. Looking bad for Mittens in Ohio.

(25,415 posts)4 points at this late state of a campaign is not good for Mittens. He knows he must find an alternative to OH but WI looks worse for him. I love it.

(4,167 posts)RCP has not posted this poll yet. Still showing the old PPP from oct 20. They were quick to post the old Ohio poll that showed a tie. That is actually on the top even though there have been others that were newer.
Fringe
(175 posts)They also will put a good poll for Obama at the bottom and a good poll for Romney at the top.

(4,551 posts)Both showing Obama ahead.
It was probably a disappointment for RCP after the Cincinnati Enquirer poll that showed a Tie.
