One can always hope that what you say will become true. Then again one has to be suspicious as to why the GOP is taking so many politically suicidal positions on just about every issue. Every issue is a wedge or divisive issue. Even women seem to be divided over this issue. What are they up to or do they believe they can rig this election too? The GOP does everything for a reason. And what they are doing makes no sense whatsoever.

If the candidates are this late into the primary process and they are still trying to fire up their base, instead of moving to the next phase of winning independents and other un-affiliateds, then that means a November win isn't looking good.

they are taking a page from Saddam Hussein, who at the end of Gulf War #1, set the oil fields on fire.

All across the country, the GOP is trying to do as much damage as they possibly can as they move towards extinction.

Attack planned parenthood, pass insane "person-hood" laws, crazy voter suppression laws, gut public sector jobs and pensions in every state they can, ultra sound laws, cripple health care options for women.

They're making as big a mess as they can ... in the limited time they have left.

We may be seeing the last desperate gasps from them before they become losers in all elections going forward.

They were so sure that Obama was a 1 term President last year, I would argue and argue that it's very very tough to beat an incumbent and the economy is bound to pick up soon, but they just thought it was a given that because they hated Obama then everyone else must too. To see them all admit one by one that Obama is a huge favorite has been a pleasure to watch.

Now they are directionless and are picking fights they cannot win that will further decimate the party.

This is our time people. Obama at the top is the only chance we have for real change, let's parlay this into a Liberal Revolution in our own party. We can take the house and hold the Senate and push progressive policies at the State and Local levels.
