If Hillary really wants to stick it to Donald Trump

She has to choose Warren or another woman as VP. If we know she will win there is no risk what so ever. Plus this would really signify the historical significance of her candidacy.

Besides if she chooses Warren, isn't the governor of Massachusetts a Republican? He could choose a Republican to fill her seat putting the Democrats in a deeper hole if Hillary wins.

Since Hillary is the Settler in Chief, she and Bill will choose someone safe and non-threatening.
