At some point, GD-P will become Election 2016.

Right now, there are still primaries ahead, so discussion of the two Democratic candidates is still the order of the day. However, we can, I think, begin to discuss the leading candidate in terms of the General Election. Any time the name of Hillary Clinton comes up in threads here, we are still within the SOP of this forum, I believe.

So, it's entirely appropriate to begin discussing the General Election, with primary candidate Clinton as a main subject. Until she becomes the nominee, she is still a primary candidate, and so a topic for this forum, I believe.

The admins of the site have not weighed in on this, but I think that would be their interpretation of threads where we are discussing Clinton vs. Trump. She is still a primary candidate, so any such discussion will be within the GD-P SOP, I believe.

Based on my thread that was locked yesterday, I would say you are correct. Dawgs Apr 2016 #1
