There is a hugh risk in playing the emotions card.

It has become obvious that political operatives think there is only an upside to playing the emotions card (especially with women).

However, if you are going to play the emotions card, you're candidate better have clean hands. Otherwise you are at risk of suffering a huge backlash. That is one thing that really pisses off most women. They don't like to feel played. They don't like to think that someone has tried to take advantage of their feelings.

The same goes for the use of the gender card (especially when it's unwarranted use can lead to women suffering from actual sexism being ignored because people will just think they are playing the gender card). In fact, you play the emotion card when you play the gender card.

You can play the emotions card by playing the gender card. You play it anytime you are trying to appeal to someone's emotions (especially women).

They do it when they attack Bernie on guns. They do it when they play the victim card. They do it when they hold themselves out as the defender of women and children. They do it when they try to pull on your heart strings to support policies that have been devastating to the working class. I've mentioned in other posts how they try to use those they exploit to uphold policies that have devastated this country and its people.

You can see the corp media also beating this theme. There was an article defending the payment of 91 cents per hour to prisoners who manufactured solar panels by saying that it enabled the company to keep 300 regular jobs in the U.S. As if somehow that makes it okay.

It's a stream-of-consciousness trainwreck. I'm not even going to wait around for the medics to arrive and try to translate it. It's probably best for me to just go ahead and hide the thread.

When you play to people's anger, they don't care if you don't actually have workable solutions. Empty rhetoric will do.

The leftwing version of what Trump is doing.

It's called "demagoguery".

people.

Bernie is not engaging in demagoguery. It only seems so to those who are comfortable with or accepting of our current corrupt system and its limitations for the people.

We never would have overcome slavery or had the American Revolution with the corporate mindset of so many.

I doubt that Clinton has an easy time using words like "pay gap", "patriarchy" and "oppression" while sitting in a $6 million house and giving speeches to Wall Street.

It's hard to say for sure, as the OP is pretty incoherent, but I think they might be trying to say that because Hillary is a woman and is in favour of women's rights, she's playing some sort of "card"?

Man, I've got a vagina but I never thought I got a card out of it. Where's my card?

anything any Hillary supporter says will be called some kind of a card by Bernie supporters. If it they can't call it the "sexism card" or the "racism card", they'll call it the "emotion card." (I'm still waiting to be accused of using the "logic card".)

And if Bernie uses the same argument, it's a valid argument, not a card. Whether it's a "card" or not depends completely on who is using it.

I have posted plenty of rock-solid arguments. If the argument goes against a Bernie supporter's beliefs, their response is either a personal attack or "LOL". So far, I have not seen a single Bernie supporter here who was capable of being civil. Sadly, your post is no exception.

Angry and butt-hurt whether she is winning or losing.

Has Sanders accused Clinton of sexism? Clinton accused Sanders of sexism because she doesn't want to release her Wall St. transcripts.

The fact that most of the United States thinks of the South as "the Confederacy" means that Bernie Sanders and all of his supporters are racist for stating that the most conservative Democratic voters live in the South. Did Sanders say Clinton was a racist for her stereotype-based pandering outreach to minority voters? (No, she doesn't remind me of my Abuela)

So far, I have not seen a single Bernie supporter here who was capable of being civil. Sadly, your post is no exception.

Check the responses to the OP by you and your fellow travelers, would you say that you are being "civil"?
