Ohio undecided voters turned off by Romney

from the politico..

A potpourri of undecided voters in Tuesday’s Ohio primary — one of the biggest on Super Tuesday just three days from now and perhaps the most important to the fate of the candidates — crammed into a high-school gym Friday to hear Santorum speak.

Santorum is slightly ahead in the polls, and he and Romney are spending the better part of the weekend campaigning here. At 66 delegates, the state is a big delegate prize. But Santorum will almost definitely lose the argument that he can beat Romney with white, working-class voters if he loses here.

“I’m leaning towards Santorum. I like what’s he says and he has convictions,” said Jeff Tatman, a local business-owner. “But I do worry about whether he would attract the swing voters…On the other hand, maybe we need to nominate someone conservative and passionate to get the message out for next time. First things first”

..Molly Maimone, a mother of nine who home schools her children. “I like what stands for. I like his values,” she said of Santorum, “I don’t know what Romney believes, what he stands for. If it were between Romney and Obama, I don’t think I could morally vote.”

============

Romney is becoming a weaker and weaker general election candidate. I am sure some of these people will come around by November but the longer this goes on the more likely it will leave lasting scars.

music to my ears. The more conservatives who can't bring themselves to vote if it's Romney the better.

I think quite a few Republicans may feel that way.. especially the conservatives.
