for not exposing the facts in the primary?
In the world of politics where very little is known, one thing is for sure Camp Clinton does NOT want Hillary vetted during the primary process. And her buddy Donald Trump seems to agree with Camp Clinton. If he wanted Bernie to speak out, he never would have made the stupid comment about what Bernie said.
So neither Clinton or Trump want Clinton vetted during the primary process. Isn't that something...
Update: On Face the Nation, they talked about vetting Hillary in the general.
From Face the Nation: 1/31 In terms of what they do, though, in a very long period where all the attention is going to a Republican campaign that's going -- that's going for month after month, they probably raise a lot of money and they do a lot of organizing, but that may not be a good period for Clinton because it's a period in which she gets covered as a president who (ph) gets investigated.
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/face-the-nation-transcripts-january-31-2016-trump-rubio/
WHY CLINTON HAS NOT BEEN VETTED
1. There are a LOT of people that don't know about stuff from the past. Some were not born and some really didn't tune into politics at that time. I've found out stuff that I never knew.
2. She and Bill have done a WHOLE LOT since 2008.
3. Her record as SOS has not been discussed.

(12,685 posts)Interesting that came out after the Trump's nickname for her of incompetent was disclosed.
Trump's nickname of incompetent is not really subject to the gender card like unqualified which might be why the Camp Clinton started the whole thing. Of course she does stir up her base when she plays the "poor me I am being attacked card."
brush
(53,787 posts)It won't be Hillary though as she's withstood 25 years of repug attacks.
Here's a link to a video of Trump's many insults to women. Scroll down about 6 posts to the video and watch, then tell us Trump is going survive just this? And women are just one huge group of voters Trump has insulted, threaten to export or exclude from the country.
Videos like these will be running 24/7 against that misogynist racist.

We outnumber repugs. Maybe you don't remember but the Obama coalition of African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, women, gays, non-diehard progressive whites and Native Americans, elected Obama twice and will do the same for Clinton.
Again, we outnumber the angry whites that back Trump.
Romney got a huge majority of those same people. He lost, remember?
The days of winning the presidency with only white votes are long gone.

Here it is again. Watch it and tell me Trump is going to win the majority of women voters. Scroll down about 6 posts to the video:

And there are similar videos that will run 24/7 of him calling Latinos criminals and whores, and his intent to export them and build a wall.
Also of his racist thugs beating black people at his rallies.

(23,272 posts)n Maryland, he captured 50 percent of the votes from female Republicans. In Pennsylvania, that percentage increased to 54 percent and it was 55 percent in Connecticut.
He has a problem with Democratic women but Republican women are absolutely voting for him.

(23,272 posts)You're trying to rationalize people who will crawl over broken glass to vote against her.
The women who have already voted for Trump also know he's a raving shithead towards women. Its been brought up ad nauseum by the MSM in regards to his comments @ Carly Fiorina and Megyn Kelly.
They know it and still vote for him in ever increasing numbers.

(53,787 posts)Clinton won and Trump will lose spectacularly.
After that debacle of a foreign policy speech of his today I can't wait for the debates.

(23,272 posts)Your insinuation that I'm a Trump supporter is despicable. I don't deserve that. My posting history demonstrates I'm a solid Democrat.
Your willful inability to see this campaign with any sense of clarity is damn sad.
Shit like this is why there's never going to be any success putting the party together again. I actually used to like you as another fellow long term poster but your Sanders hatred has turned you into a parody.
Well done.

(5,815 posts)Sure, we know about them, because we're political junkies. But even on DU, there hasn't been much of an in-depth discussion of them, because any mention is met with "right-wing talking points!"
And Bernie certainly hasn't made it a big deal.
Trump will have no scruples about bringing it all into the light.
I actually wish Sanders had used it as a line of attack. I don't think it would have helped him - I've long thought Clinton will be the nominee. But at least it would've immunized Clinton to a degree for the general.
Sanders' nice guy approach is actually going to be a disservice. It allowed a head-in-the-sand attitude to fester both within the party and within a sympathetic media.
Her real vetting, just what exactly she's been up to for the past eight years, has not yet begun.
People are way too complacent about this. Trump fights dirty. Sanders did not. Just wait. And then imagine what they're going to save up for October. It's going to be an interesting, drama-filled election season.

Trump's to the left of Hillary on TPP, futher Mideast entanglements, fracking etc
SMH, Trump hasn't even begun. He's labeled her "corrupt" Hillary for specific reasons which I think he'll bring out as soon as she's the nominee.

From the people who hate her, to those who wont vote for her because she's not Bernie or a liberal, to those who think she's a Democrat and would never vote for a Democrat, she has a whole cadre of people prepared NOT to vote for her despite a Trump president.
