So when Clinton's numbers plummet are you going to blame Bernie

Last edited Wed Apr 27, 2016, 04:07 PM - Edit history (4)

for not exposing the facts in the primary?

In the world of politics where very little is known, one thing is for sure Camp Clinton does NOT want Hillary vetted during the primary process. And her buddy Donald Trump seems to agree with Camp Clinton. If he wanted Bernie to speak out, he never would have made the stupid comment about what Bernie said.

So neither Clinton or Trump want Clinton vetted during the primary process. Isn't that something...

Update: On Face the Nation, they talked about vetting Hillary in the general.

From Face the Nation: 1/31 In terms of what they do, though, in a very long period where all the attention is going to a Republican campaign that's going -- that's going for month after month, they probably raise a lot of money and they do a lot of organizing, but that may not be a good period for Clinton because it's a period in which she gets covered as a president who (ph) gets investigated.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/face-the-nation-transcripts-january-31-2016-trump-rubio/

WHY CLINTON HAS NOT BEEN VETTED

1. There are a LOT of people that don't know about stuff from the past. Some were not born and some really didn't tune into politics at that time. I've found out stuff that I never knew.

2. She and Bill have done a WHOLE LOT since 2008.

3. Her record as SOS has not been discussed.

Trump's nickname of incompetent is not really subject to the gender card like unqualified which might be why the Camp Clinton started the whole thing. Of course she does stir up her base when she plays the "poor me I am being attacked card."

We outnumber repugs. Maybe you don't remember but the Obama coalition of African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, women, gays, non-diehard progressive whites and Native Americans, elected Obama twice and will do the same for Clinton.

Again, we outnumber the angry whites that back Trump.

Romney got a huge majority of those same people. He lost, remember?

Sure, we know about them, because we're political junkies. But even on DU, there hasn't been much of an in-depth discussion of them, because any mention is met with "right-wing talking points!"

And Bernie certainly hasn't made it a big deal.

Trump will have no scruples about bringing it all into the light.

I actually wish Sanders had used it as a line of attack. I don't think it would have helped him - I've long thought Clinton will be the nominee. But at least it would've immunized Clinton to a degree for the general.

Sanders' nice guy approach is actually going to be a disservice. It allowed a head-in-the-sand attitude to fester both within the party and within a sympathetic media.

Her real vetting, just what exactly she's been up to for the past eight years, has not yet begun.

People are way too complacent about this. Trump fights dirty. Sanders did not. Just wait. And then imagine what they're going to save up for October. It's going to be an interesting, drama-filled election season.

99. I'm guessing you won't be around to admit it if your prediction fails to pan out

Note that I say 'if' because I am not in habit of assuming my opinion to be correct the way you are. If things turn out differently from the way you predicted, will you admit you were wrong or will you just invent some new story about how the fix was in all along or something and people would have done exactly what you predicted if it wasn't for the baksters/1%/illuminati/jews/aliens (take your pick) who really run things.

... Hillary's numbers have been "plummeting" since she entered the race - and, OMG! They plummeted yet again last night!

41. I'm hoping they team-up Clinton/Sanders & unite the Party. Senator Sanders moves in that direction.

Sanders first noted that he won in Rhode Island, “the one state with an open primary where independents had a say in the outcome.” Then he went further, saying: “Democrats should recognize that the ticket with the best chance of winning this November must attract support from independents as well as Democrats. I am proud of my campaign’s record in that regard.”

The last fifty years have all been a ruse.
He's just been shamelessly pandering to democratic socialist voters.

If her numbers drop that's all on her. She has to give people a reason to vote for her and not just "I'm not them."

"I'm not them" is a sign of weakness. She will continue to give reasons why as she has during the primary.

And you know what? The ONLY person to blame will be Hillary Clinton. Not the wary independents and the voters that are not satisfied with her politics.

Sanders barely scratched the surface, and stuck to facts. If she can't handle that, then she definately can't handle what the GOP candidate will throw at her.
