(12,448 posts)But realism doesn't seem to matter with many people here. So boring! Fantasy is more fun.

(53,787 posts)The longer the campaign goes the longer the checks keep coming.
Him and Devine are set for life now. Devine's firm is pulling down 800k a month.

(1,377 posts)That person who supports someone who has taking millions in legal bribes from Big Banks would even think to accuse the person who has not of corruption. No wonder people like you like Hillary.

(2,064 posts)I don't need to read the demented ramblings of one of her boot-lickers about Bernie (the poster boy for small donor contributions) being a money-grubbing sellout. That's full-on, 200-proof stupid is what that is.
And yet these bozos expect us to STFU and fall in line with the corporate-sponsored/approved repackaged-DLC candidate, and if we don't, WE'RE THE FUCKING BAD GUYS????

(53,787 posts)For Weaver to keep Sanders supporters sending in their hard earned $27 donations by saying there is still a possibility that Sanders can win is, quite frankly, fraud.
David Plouffe himself said this last week. To keep promising something you know can't happen while still accepting money from that promise is illegal . . . not cool. Not cool at all.

(15,222 posts)It's about keeping the donations coming in. I've seen posters on DU already this morning saying they will donate, too, as is their privilege. But I can't imagine that it would not be money wasted at this point.

(1,377 posts)You all are out of touch with reality, claiming Sanders is just in it for money. Good god do you even know how much money the Clintons have made from political influence. It like Pablo Escobar calling a clerk at drug store a drug dealer because that clerk sold a bottle of aspirin.
hamsterjill
(15,222 posts)I don't see where anyone is claiming that Sanders (himself) is in it for the money, but rather his paid surrogates who wish to continue to receive their salaries, etc.

(53,787 posts)It's Weaver and Devine. Good God, man, they sent him to the Vatican on a fool's mission that failed spectacularly.
They want to keep moola coming in.
Look at the other posts on this thread. It's become apparent to many others besides me.

(68,586 posts)And what bothers me about this is since Bernie's base is so young...can they afford it...are they using their grocery money and rent money for what is essentially a lost cause? I hope not.
