"correct the record"

If Hillary and her supporters wonder why bringing many Bernie supporters to heel is not going to be a forgone conclusion, they need to look no further than her superPAC headed by Brock as one of the major reasons. The crap that "correct the record" (cute name, btw) has pulled on Bernie's campaign and supporters has been truly despicable...many Bernie supporters use the Internet primarily for their communication and news and are fully aware of Brock's crap that isn't going to be forgiven easily, if at all.

If she chose to associate herself with scoundrels, she must be willing to own it.

the two candidates are miles apart in terms of policy, and the Hillary Campaign would've had to actually be even more conciliatory, less offensive, than the standard primary campaign if it ever wanted to attract Sanders' supporters. They've done the opposite every step of the way.

Assuming Hillary gets the nomination, it's going to be a very weird general election, and she could very well end up losing it because she's gone out of her way to drive off millennials and independents.

“If you study what’s being said in social media, the media that millennials are consuming, it is filled with misinformation and vicious lies and sexism in terms that you can’t even repeat from his supporters, from other trolls,” Brock said. “And you wonder why there’s such a gap in the millennial preference for Sanders over Hillary. I think if people took a look at what they’re seeing, that would account for some of [the deficit] — the fact that they have a misimpression of her."

I don't strongly disagree with his assessment. Does that make me evil?

Brock’s sharp elbows in dealing with Sanders have provoked the ire of Clinton aides on several occasions. Sanders has raised millions of dollars by invoking Brock’s attacks to supporters. His camp believes Clinton officials’ private-but-noisy complaints about Brock are just cover so they have plausible deniability while he does the wetwork.

...as it reads like a framing attempt.

The practice you allude to is certainly an indictment of the superPAC concept, but maybe not of the actual campaign or the candidate herself. But if documented, we should indeed watch how the candidate disavows or tacitly endorses it.

(re: elections, not spouses)

It's a quirk of mine.

In the past it wasn't this obvious before the election. Now, we are so morally and ethically bankrupt, it's done in the open and bragged about.

It isn't tough to conclude that's a deal breaker.

Those of us who have been around politics for a long time fully understand the right wing machine and propaganda from those acting as if they are agents of the left. Morons promoting Benghazi, indictments, Vince Foster and such. We have to have these resources in order to ensure progressive victories.

Thank him for running such effective smear campaigns! Maybe she can invite Anita Hill, too.

Btw, I look at these actions as an attempt to manipulate public perception away from the truth. That's been apparent with the email server issues where talking points have been so obviously distributed to deflect that the issue is as just another RW attack, there's no there there, etc etc
