The writing is on the wall, and I'm with her

At this point, the only thing Bernie can do is hurt the Democrats' chances in the general election, and there is just too much at stake. To the hangers on, I am sorry your candidate didn't win this time. To the Hillary Supporters, count me in...we have to move forward together.

And I'm with HER!!!!!!

When (then) Senator Clinton had more delegates than Senator Sanders has right now, this place said that (now) President Obama was the presumptive nominee and, well, "let it sink". It is high time Secretary Clinton be afforded the exact same favor. Because she has damn well *earned* it.

Happy Wednesday everybody! Onward, Upward and FORWARD....I'm with her!

She doesn't.

Meanwhile Trump now has the most votes in Republican history.

It's a perfect storm scenario. We've been trying to tell you Hillary supporters this but instead we get laughed at. Should Hillary win the nomination, it's a loss in the GE.

It's really not the closed/open dichotomy so many Bernie supporters like to assert. It is simply a diverse/homogenous dichotomy, and it has held true in every state so far.

Wed Apr 27, 2016, 11:07 AM

Bernie's coalition is largely white, male, and often privileged. (Yes, I know there are women, poor people, and people of color voting for him too, but the majority of women and PoC has supported Hillary, and while Hillary has tended to beat Bernie among the wealthy, she has also tended to beat him among the poor.) Hillary's coalition is far more diverse in terms of gender, race, and class. In other words, her coalition to a large extent consists of the people who have been historically disadvantaged in this country. This is not exactly an "entitled few."

And anyone has had the right to vote in the Democratic Primary. All they had to do was to follow the primary rules for their state. Independents who live in closed-primary states were not disenfranchised by anything other than their own choice.

Registration errors by incompetent officials being the exception.

The people like yourself who have decided it's time to bait Sanders supporters into a tombstone are failing spectacularly to spin discussions into violations of DUs TOS.

If you want to know about my vote in the GE, ask me outside of DU, and if I think it's any of your business, I'll be happy to tell you.

I'm not answering questions about my vote in the GE for 2 reasons:

The first, and the primary, reason, is that it's still primary season, I haven't cast my primary vote, and my focus is on THAT vote.

The secondary reason is that, when the nominee has been made official at the convention, THAT is when I will consider my GE vote. I don't vote for anyone or anything without careful consideration; responsible voters don't. I also don't do loyalty oaths of any kind, so that won't be forthcoming, if that's what you are digging for.

But you just keep trying. That sly tone you notice is looking at you right out of your own mirror, as you slyly fail to attribute your own inept interpretation to me.

The likes of you will be gone soon enough when Hillary is declared the nominee. I'm a patient person. If you choose to stay, that won't be a problem either.

Do what you like. This is still America. Vote. Don't vote. Your choice.

But every vote not cast for the Democratic nominee, which news flash, WILL BE Hillary, is a nod toward a Trump presidency.

Believe that. Don't believe that. Argue all you want. But facts are facts.

Outside of DU? I don't do outside of DU.

Our lying fucking media keeps it hidden much like they have kept Hilary's emails kind of quiet as well as the problems it would cause if she actually was elected.

And the dems who are in the pocket of big money and have no intention of working for the people, are not democrats at all. Yes, that is true.

and don't give a fuck about them....including Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders has lost among poor voters, women and minorities in the majority of states. If you think the base of the party aren't democrats, then you're in the wrong party.

and how it shows a pay for play selling of government favors for personal foundation deposits, that it shows a person trying desperately to keep her doings secret from the people and the government, that it shows an incredible lack of judgement, that it shows an incredible lack of respect for the law....well, I think they would be a lot more interested in them and would easily see why she cannot be elected as dogcatcher or anything else.

Bernie doesn't care about the emails and the vast majority of Democrats don't care about the emails. Republicans and a few bernie zealots do. Get over it.

He said he didn't want to have them in the debates but that they should be investigated. And really, did you think that if you said Bernie doesn't care about those emails, I would say "oh, then neither do I" Bernie supporters don't walk in lockstep and repeat the same disinformation like "no one cares about those emails."

They sure as hell do care and the republicans will use them to mop the floor with HRH

but the majority of polling shows that he will lose, especially those that analyze state by state matchups. If you want to practice magical thinking, that's fine...but that doesn't mean the rest of the party does.

I read YOUR post and it was insulting to me as a lifelong Democrat. Truthful? No. Your post is opinion at best.

There is no excuse for broad brush insults like you made in your first post.

I have never been more disappointed about a Democratic Party front runner since ... Dukakis ....

My first vote was 1974 .... Some 40 years later, we've hit bottom ...

Sad ....

Very disappointed. But my candidate is the presumptive nominee this time. We've all been disappointed in politics. We all have dealt with it and moved on. This time mine won and I'm pleased because I won't have to hold my nose and vote for Sanders in the general.

We are pretty much fucked in the general election. And no, I'm not even close to a Bernie Bro or whatever you want to call them. I think we were ultimately fucked no matter which of these two candidates we selected.

I'm a fan of a big slate of options and candidates representing so much of what should be (but is no longer) the Democrats former "big tent" membership and constituencies.

Instead we've turned into just as much of a cult of personality as the Republicans have.

Besides, Hillary is not the most important consideration. Working to make sure progressive policy is implemented is far more important than shoring up Hillary for the General Election.

I took a serious look at Sanders but his lack of specifics and lackluster Senate career turned me away. Hillary has the intellect, experience, and skills to be our next president and I feel so privileged to live in an era when a woman can rise to be leader of the free world.

I am PUMPED!!!
