Bernie Staying in So Everyone Has a Chance to Vote

That's really a silly justification. They won't cancel the Democratic primaries in the upcoming States just because Bernie decides to suspend his campaign. Everyone will have the chance to vote for Bernie regardless.

To be clear, he should stay in as long as he wants, but this particular justification doesn't hold water.

In that if he continues to campaign and gets every chance at a bite at the apple, normal people (not the die-hards on DU who will insist it's a fix) will see that he had every chance and just couldn't get the votes. That will help with unity.

However, I'm worried about how much money this (basically) ego trip is going to cost us out of the GE fund. Bernie has already been defeated, but Trump is a different kettle of fish. Yes, he's a fucking idiot, but he'll be a very well-funded fucking idiot and we're going to need every penny. We ARE still trying to defeat the Republicans as the ULTIMATE GOAL, yes?
