Disappointed? Let's NOT Say "Oh, Well"

I am not going to cast aspersions on Hillary Clinton. I think her media driven image is kind of liking playing Telephone; the further it's carried from the source, the more distorted it becomes. If you aren't someone who is given to digging through the records, well you can just imbue whatever you hear with your own rosy spin. Same goes with any emotionally laden negatives that don't even require facts.

What I do blame is the mindset of a whole generation of people who developed a new idea of what passes for a Democrat. There is willing collusion to denigrate and leave behind those who don't fit the well-educated, credentialed "experts" who now either run this country, the in-group businesses or who gladly serve those who do. There's lots of social liberals in this group — those who want women, Blacks, LGBT and 'worthy immigrants' to be able to enter and grab the spoils of this new class of Democrats. But there is very little support for actions that address the larger economic inequality. It hardly even registers on the radar. I doubt the new version of Dem (well, new since the 70's) even realizes their culpability in creating the problem for other members of our society. They blindly think they are the future and the problem population is just going to die off. Not a problem to lose sleep over (unless they vote for Republicans! OMG!)

I think Hillary believes she is the answer because she is part and parcel of this privileged group-think of just who composes the group of deserving 'Liberals'. She and Bill and their chosen ones were architects for God's sake.

Where Bernie has the credentials is that he has *always questioned* that juggernaut and has been a gadfly about those issues that are so gladly left by the wayside as "unsolvable"-- so don't bother. You may not like how he sounds or what he says, but it is essential that what he represents is forced back into the so called "Liberal "conscience.

I think that those supporting him should become millions of disrupting gadflies that force those who would rather ignore the big ECONOMIC issues to be forced to stare them in the face. No complacency. Builders will tell you that it is easier to build new than to retrofit the old house. There is such a thing as a spiritual destruction to make room for a more inclusive model. Those who are quite comfortable with the status quo, the many so-called Liberals who turn their backs and sneer at the FDR legacy as outmoded? They definitely need some afflicting. Let there be positive disruption.

Anyone, let alone any Democrat, who can't appreciate FDR... it's pointless to finish the statement.
