The media continues to let Trump get away with lying about everything.
How can you have a presidential candidate who lies about every single thing no matter how inconsequential the subject matter? How would you ever be able to believe anything he says as president.
Trump claimed in his "victory speech" that he was leading Hillary by huge numbers in tonight's primary. To the contrary, from the time they began releasing the actual voting numbers, Hillary was beating Trump in all four of the states she won, in some cases by almost twice as many votes as Trump. In at least two of the cases Hillary as well as Bernie both individually had more votes than Trump.
The media has succumb to the mantra of "Let Trump be Trump" even when they know he is straight up lying. If this continues to go unchecked, we can forget about having any expectation of truth from candidates in any future campaigns. If Trump can lie about everything unimpeded, expect future candidates to be more carnival entertainment than presidential and more "ly'in Teds" and 'low energy Jebs" since lies go unchallenged.

It's good business.
And yes, they let Hillary do it too. They let all of them do it. It used to be they wouldn't let republicans do it but now that they get more "hate watching" from Trump, it pays.
Sex sells. Conflict sells. Drama sells. If it bleeds, it leads.
If it's Trump, it gets eyeballs and clicks.
They don't care about the truth. It's just business.
And they are collecting footage to use later, probably.
