(14,004 posts)I still think there's no harm in him staying in until all states have voted, just to let people have their say, even if it's basically symbolic. I would be against him contesting the convention if he's behind in pledged delegates, we need to be united against the Republicans by then. I'm a Bernie supporter btw, and do want to cast my vote for him in New Mexico .

(50,947 posts)You should still be able to vote for your candidate.
State laws usually do not permit removal of a candidate after a certain deadline.
I don't remember which state but it was a recent primary in which Rubio beat out Republicans that were still in.

(1,235 posts)Maddow and her really blatant attempts at sabotaging Bernie's campaign, is now 'out of reach' for a lot of progressives .. of course I assume Maddow has a position in a Hillary administration (if she wins the GE of course, which is not a given by a long shot) so come Jan she will be off the air anyway.

(20,453 posts)I wonder what the reward is now that her stature in the MSM earned her a good paycheck.
They start out wanting to make a difference, and then they fall in line with the corporation. You can't tell where this stuff starts and stops.

(20,453 posts)Maddo is a Rhodes scholar and does not have enough knowledge to conceive what is likely to happen at the convention. That is NOT a sign of intelligence... It's more LIKELY a sign of someone kissing Hillary's ass.

(47,209 posts)Yet gets skewered here for telling the truth when SBS people don't like to hear it.
The fat lady sang, tonight. If SBS thinks he is going to the convention as anything but an also ran, he is delusional. The math has done him in.

(20,453 posts)You kill me. You actually think what is portrayed in a political process is a skill set.
At least you're right that she knows that process more than most. She's got the best "processor". And, isn't that what we all need? A "processor".

(47,209 posts)bus, merely because they are spieled with reality. Process that.

(20,453 posts)You are quick to throw that out because it's what you need to do.
The rest of us take this stuff pretty seriously, as far as I can read here.

(4,484 posts)A part of me hates to say it, but I think she is right.
I voted for Bernie, although I never hated Clinton by any means, but I think it is time for us to unite. Both camps are full of really good people who want good things for America.
I love DU and I love the democratic party. Lets stand together.
