(65,174 posts)this before. President Clinton did populist talk while being complete DLC. President Obama I had hope for, but overall I am disappointed. Haven't seen anything from Hillary yet to get me to feel different. She was to the right of Obama on foreign policy.

(92 posts)Serious question? We all know she has been chosen and will be the next POTUS barring some divine intervention so why even make the appearance that there is any interest in moving to the left at this point? How does one mend the fences with us while pivoting the center for the general? How do you reconcile these competing interests? It doesn't make sense.

He was Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley from 2005 to 2010, helping to drive Morgan Stanley into what would have been bankruptcy without a taxpayer bailout and helping to wreck the U.S. economy in the process. From there he rotated into the U.S. State Department as Deputy Secretary of the State (where he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate) before he went back to Morgan Stanley as Managing Director and Vice Chairman.
