(5,713 posts)They like his speeches, but somehow they're to busy with other things to show up and vote for him.
Sounds like a great skit for SNL.

Blah, blah, blah. He ought to re-evaluate and re-assess. It's up to him, though.
MSNBC is flashing numbers that say HRC is ahead in all save RI. Pity for him they don't have any significant delegates.

(135,425 posts)No need to rub it in, I suppose!
When your "spend" rate is nine bucks a vote in the state where you were born, and you STILL lose, it's probably time to 're-evaluate.'

(10,336 posts)are only 29% of the electorate (if 100% turnout), we should put the best candidate forward. Which would of course be Bernie without question.

(65,174 posts)I am Bernie to the end. You know, super delegates aren't very democratic to begin with. So if he wants to try to convince them, why not? She will not have over the number in regular pledged delegates. On the other hand, if he drops out, I will understand. But would be very disappointed. Will never get Hillary's appeal. She is making a half hearted and not genuine effort to court progressives just like President Clinton did in the 90s.

(10,336 posts)I have no reason to doubt he will drop out or fade away or even cede the movement's power to ANYONE. Including Hillary if she should win.

(135,425 posts)as DEMOCRATS, feel represent OUR DEMOCRATIC values. Those of us who have been members of the party for decades, who have backed candidates, worked for them, etc., most of us are very pleased indeed. There's a reason why Clinton has more votes than anyone else. She's the best candidate, the most qualified candidate, the smartest candidate, and the most prepared candidate.

Bitter clown indeed. Take a look in the mirror.
