but you don't seem to notice the pattern (he always leaves the day of the primaries to start campaigning in the next group of states) and that it has no correlation to results. (He does it in states he expects to win and states he expects to lose and states that are going to be close.)

It's not telling of anything at all other than he leaves early to start campaigning in the next group of states.

I don't think Bernie has had an original thought since he (or whomever) crafted his stump speech.

When asked about anything not covered in his speech, his answer is always the same.

-Your issue is important to me
-It will be a high priority in my administration
-But wall street, banks, income inequality, corporations

When challenged on anything in his platform, he just gets a big toothy grin, waves his fingers around like a lecturing grandparent and gets angry, then repeats his stump speech.

He has no depth whatsoever.
