she got her $300 million.

To her credit. When she started HuffPo she had no money to pay salaries or child care providers. So congrats on the big payday.

She is not on any kind of earnout or anything so for now . . . just another corporate employee. Drawing a salary.

Because Nate Silver deals with logical, cold, hard numbers. As does Professor Sam Wang (http://election.princeton.edu/). Howard is living in the past when newspaper endorsements meant something. You know, before most people got their news from the internet.

This is all Howard trying to be cool to gain attention.

He pulled this crap after the first debate, and complained after the second debate when Obama did everything he said Obama should've done.

He even tried to complain about one of Biden's answers. He's a real a$$ hole I didn't want to accept it but he's gone too damn far this time.

A$$ hole, I'm never watching his sorry arse again.

The DMR does still matter, it is the largest newspaper in Iowa. However, many Iowans are skeptical of the DMR's editorial board, whether it's middle-of-the-road, leaning left, or leaning right. I've known politicians in Iowa who were successful in running against the Register, others who cringed when they received an endorsement.

It's a strange endorsement, looking at what the Register has done historically, but their ownership, as several have pointed out, has been shifting to the corporate right. I really don't see this a big deal.

DMR may still matter in IA to some conservatives not to Dems, or people who care about Obama & women's rightss. it's a freaking endorsement.

He's acting like those lunatics Sununu & McCranky who lit their hair on fire yesterday over Powell's endorsement. At least, powell had a good reason for endorsing Obama, he's consistent.

DMR endorsed Myth because he's obviously the worst rethug to run in 40 years, obviously Bushes, & Reagan jusst weren't bankrupt enough to merit their endorsement.

Even they admit, Myth ran two positions so RMoney was either lying in the primary or he's lying now, so he's a liar. No Howard their endorsement of a Rethug is not good.

Too many shades of Tricky Dick to whom Myth's been compared to on occasion, BTW. Last Rethug endorsement was Tricky dick, does not speak well of Myth.

The pundits are becoming liability at times, look what they cost us after the first debate. It would have been an uneventful debate but they went wild & made a big deal out of nothing, giving RMoney an undeserved win for lying & deceiving the American people.

I don't watch their shows (Matthews, Maddow) anymore, after that sh** they pulled. Ed apologized the next day for loing it so giving him another chance.

Lawrence, Rev Al, & Bashir are always true though.

On the eve of the 2010 midterm elections, Fineman said with certainty on Hardball that Charlie Baker stood a "good chance" of unseating Deval Patrick here in Mass. Well, history will show us how that gubernatorial contest turned out, and it wasn't pretty.
