Delaware final County benchmarks; 60% Clinton - 40% Sanders

Bechmark Politics:

Although there are only 21 delegates up for grabs, the “First State” of Delaware is quite important this primary season especially for Hillary Clinton. With a win here combined with a possible 4 other wins across the north east states voting on April 26th, Secretary Clinton can solidify her position as the democratic nominee and start focusing her attention more towards the general election. A Sanders upset here could be indicative of a great day for him as it could translate to wins in the even more delegate rich states of Pennsylvania and Connecticut. From a demographic standpoint the former scenario is much more likely than the latter however given how wild this primary season has been thus far, anything is possible.

Kent County: Clinton 61.7% Sanders 38.3%
New Castle County: Clinton 60.61% Sanders 30.39%
Sussex County: Clinton 56.48 Sanders 43.52%

Expected Baseline: 60% Clinton - 40% Sanders
