Chuck Todd suggests Bernie is done: ‘Did we just hear the Bernie Sanders exit interview?’

NBC host Chuck Todd speculated over the weekend that he may have conducted his last interview with Bernie Sanders as a presidential candidate.

In an interview that aired on Sunday’s edition of Meet the Press, Sanders admitted that he had a narrow path to defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“At the end of the day, you feel like you were giving a fair shot to this nomination?” Todd wondered.

“Yeah,” Sanders replied. “We took advantage the opportunities in front of us. We are in this race, we are not writing our obituary. We are in this race to California, and we’re proud of the campaign we ran.”

I think I liked him about 2 years ago.

I do not know how he got his job, he's not insightful, entertaining, hard-hitting or really anything. Chuck Todd is bland and asks questions that are not intriguing or conversation developing. He's always calculating, but he doesn't calculate very well; if he actually enjoyed his job, that would be something but you can tell he's going through the motions trying to get somewhere.

MTP needs either an extremely intelligent person or a person with passion.

I knew the content of the show was totally irrelevant to much of anything, but I would have thought for the sake of Hillary fans they would have at least let the whole season play out before starting into reruns.
