That's definitely because of the terrible trade agreements. Now we're stuck with poorly made Chinese products. My husband bought some steel scaffolding . . . made in China . . . and it started to rust almost immediately because they didn't bother to apply an undercoat before painting the stuff. And that's what our bridges are now being constructed of.

medical facilities, research facilities and numerous small technical companies. It's quite a transformation.

The steel mill where my Dad worked is still operating. Why? Because they modernized and kept up with technology.

Reagan is a swear word amongst many steel worker families.
