(1,235 posts)other than as some demographic group that doesn't bother to register as 'Democratic Party Members' and so have only themselves to blame if their candidate is not [s]elected' as Democratic nominee?
Watching MSNBC today where all Joy Reid was on there talking about 'the poor' not once recognizing them as people with unique financial issues that puts closely following the Democratic internal power struggles for two years and understanding all the fucked up registration rules and processes, slightly lower on the priority list than finding their next meal, somehow getting their kids to school and home safely, and getting to their three jobs every day (if they are even lucky enough to have jobs - along with a litany of other issues that most of us will never have to even imagine let alone live through.)
It's amazing when a bunch of Hillary supporting talking heads can sit there for an hour on their MSM Tee Vee shows and discuss "the poor" without ever once discussing a single thing that is even related to actual POVERTY.
Sanders isn't complaining that the non contextual voting group "the poor" is failing to get out to vote for him, he's explaining to the fucktards in the establishment that there are PEOPLE out there living in POVERTY that your fucked up system is ignoring and leaving to suffer their faith while "Real Democrats" argue over which words are slightly sexist.
What kind of revolution does not include "the poor"? That's not the right question to be asking. The right question is what kind of 'the poor' discussion doesn't mention poverty? I'll tell you which one ... the fucking Establishment Democratic Party discussion on 'the poor' that's which one.
