just a one-way deal? Seems to me many, possibly most, Bernie supporters here think he's going to win the nomination, and also they are saying that Hillary supporters need to be nicer and not offend the Bernie supporters if they want their support in November.
Doesn't that logically imply that Bernie supporters should be nicer to us Hillary folk if they want our support in November? After all we're a pretty big voting block, and, so far at least, there are more of us then there are of them.

(25,699 posts)If a candidate - any candidate - is nominated onto the Democratic ticket, Clinton supporters have all declared they'll vote for that person no matter what.
Feel free to threaten to stay home though.

(740 posts)should be nice to everybody but few on either side agree with me.
Edit: Most of the nice people on my side stay in our group because it's safer and less mean than out here, also.

(72,790 posts)Bernie supporters do not have to be nice and vice versa. The supporters are not running, the candidates are. I care little about what the supporters on each side say or do. The candidates are the only thing that matter. What the candidates say or do is what's important.

(290 posts)All in all it will get as nasty as it will, both sides have gloves off. I've heard that Hillary supporters are way more likely to vote for Bernie instead of the other way around, which is why I sort of resent her having such an edge and it meaning if we don't feel for her we're voting for Trump. There has already been a "cleaner" candidate running the whole time.
