Bernie Sanders surrogate Rosario Dawson brings up Monica Lewinsky in Clinton attack

Outspoken Bernie Sanders surrogate Rosario Dawson said Saturday she stands with Monica Lewinsky's fight against bullying, and suggested that the Clinton campaign is engaging in such behavior.

"We are literally under attack for not just supporting the other candidate. Now I'm with Monica Lewinsky with this: bullying is bad. She's actually dedicated her life now to talking about that," Dawson said, before introducing the Vermont senator on-stage at a rally here.

She continued, "And now as a campaign strategy, we are being bullied and somehow that is okay and not being talked about with the richness that it needs to (be)."

The actress and activist covered a wide range of topics, but honed in on what she calls a "media blackout" of coverage of Sanders and recent revelations that a super PAC supporting Clinton, Correct the Record, is correcting Reddit threads.

In January Bernie Sanders said that he won't bring up Monica Lewinsky because "he wasn't running against Bill Clinton". He is now using his surrogates to do his bidding by engaging in vitriolic and nasty attacks. About a week ago, another one of his surrogates Paul Y Song called Hillary Clinton a democratic whore. There seems to be a pattern.

Not too long ago, Tim Robbins attacked the people of Guam's lack of voting rights by minimizing Hillary's South Carolina's win by saying that her win “about as significant as winning Guam” And before that Killer Mike said that people were only voting for Hillary Clinton because she has a uterus. What the hell is wrong with Bernie Sanders and his campaign?

He was her boss. He held all the rank and power. It was inappropriate to say the least and sexual harassment at its worst.
