appalling? What was up with those 125k voters purged from Brooklyn voters roles that DemocracyNow.org reported to include whole blocks of people and whole buildings?

in my psych class at the junior college I was attending, the professor started the class by saying, "As I'm sure all of you know today is election day. And I sincerely hope all of you intend to vote today. But I want to remind you that a lower turnout favors Republicans, so if you're a Republican, don't vote."

I nearly fell out of my chair laughing, and not a single other student in the class got it.
