(362 posts)The beneficiary was Hillary Clinton. They are now trying to spin it as a Republican created problem but NY Republicans are part of the Cuomo machine which supports Hillary.
An example of a Cuomo supporter who was part of the NY Republican Party was Dede Scozzafava. Once she was outed, Cuomo accommodated her with political appointments. What more evidence do we need that the NY Republicans are not independent? So any problems created by someone claiming to be Republican but whose actions benefit Hillary should be the responsibility of Cuomo and his allies.
Of course you don't have proof. Posting untruths as fact is a really bad thing to do.

(4,667 posts)There, things are a lot different in terms of how parties are positioned on the political spectrum. often GOP voters are a tiny number and often the Democratic party ends up being the effective right wing because of alliances with big real estate developers etc. Crooked alliances.
Anybody who has spent a lot of time in certain cities will recognize that pattern.
To add to the problems, sometimes the black leadership can be just as corrupt as any white leadership.
This is what trade deals are doing to this country, as real jobs vanish, the churners churn and its a parasitic activity that makes money by taking peoples homes and ruining peoples lives.
Fracking is similar.

According to the Daily News, Haslett-Rudiano was in charge of maintaining accurate voter registration lists, a job that includes updating party registration information and removing the names of people who've died or moved. That process had fallen six months to a year behind schedule, according to WNYC, which reported the day before the primary that 60,000 Democrats had been removed from the polls in Brooklyn. That number later doubled after the Board of Elections followed up on the WNYC story. (bold emphasis added)
Does that only include people switching parties or could it possibly include new registrations as well? If that latter is a possibility, that would certainly explain why Sanders thought he would do very well but ended up 15 points behind....
I hope attorneys involved in those court cases address this issue.
