Time For Our President To Send Some $$$$$ To Storm Hit VA And MD

Reminds me of 2000 when gas prices were spiking in the Fall and Clinton was going to tap SPRO to ostensibly stabilize prices but to help Al Gore.

They were discussing it on CNBC and some guy said. "well, it's their reserves."

Yes . I am a cynic.

It will hit us 'godless' North Easterners . . . we don't count as Americans to some strains of folks on the Right. They only value us when they need a Noun, a Verb, and a 9! 1! 1!. Seriously.

Obama isn't Bush. They should be careful what they wish for, because Obama's leadership in the face of something like that would only help him.

Early voting in Maryland starts on Saturday. The storm is supposed to hit on Sunday.

The Maryland Governor has already declared a state of emergency.

It's not unusual for parts of the VA, DC, MD areas to be out of electricity for a week after a big storm like this. Hopefully most of the damaged will be cleared up and the power back on by election day.
