DEM/REPUBS ELECTION DAY ENTHUSIASM QUESTION

So why is it that Repubs don't like voting early and prefer to show up on Election Day? And conversely, WTF is up with Dems consistently having a slight or higher enthusiasm gap overall on Election Day?

You'd think that if Repubs were so excited to vote that they would just do early voting. Is it ceremonial or something? And why is it Dems are so prone to complacency or enthusiasm gap or whatever. Sure there have been exceptions but clearly it's an issue which is why Obama has focused on a massive early voting campaign. And everyone keeps bringing up complacency and don't be lazy, etc. which I never understood but looking at past trends I guess I understand.

Why do the two sides have such different temperaments when it comes to voting?

And If somebody even so much as type the word 'concern' regarding this post...
