Anyone else maxed out, money wise?

I have given the maximum allowable to the Obama campaign. It happened one night fairly early on when I was in a bar (seriously) and got an email on my phone from Joe Biden. I drank the rest of this fantastic Pappy Van Winkle and then did it--clicked the automatic link that maxed me out. So. Now I find myself just going nuts--feeling like I have nothing to do. I keep getting those automated emails from Obama for American and have to just ignore them. I don't understand why they keep sending them and I still feel guilty when I have to just delete them. Plus, I did that donation when there was nothing on the line (i.e., no dinner with Barack and Michelle, no trip to the inauguration or election night), but I am not bitter .
Anyone else in this boat? Care to share your story of maxing out and how you are coping?

I can't afford to max out but have been volunteering for over a month now. There is no way I could have paid the equivalent in money of how much I've contributed by volunteering. There is no limit to how much you can volunteer, and it's much more satisfying than simply clicking a button to donate money.

Go to dashboard.barackobama.com to find your neighborhood team, and sign up to help get out the vote.

which is not the actual limit. But I have phone banked 4 times and worked headquarters. Sometimes I think phone banks are a waste of time, but I still do them.

Last election, my donations were all in sweat and shoe leather! So, I definitely appreciate the value and importance of that. This time around, I am mostly doing the money, I'm afraid. Parenthood is sort of standing in the way of anything else.

Consider helping out downballot candidates. They need the $$ much more than President Obama does.

I gave some to our senate candidate but, you know, there are bills to pay even if the Obama economy has been pretty good to my family!
