Nobody cares about some rich dude's divorce or the value of Staples 20 years ago.

But if it does turn out that Romney committed perjury, it will once again expose Romney as a liar and a vulture capitalist who cannot be trusted to safeguard the welfare of American people.

If Romney was willing to lie in court, what's to prevent him from lying at the State of the Union? Or in the Rose Garden?

Oh no we're too good to pay attention to something like that. It's unsportmanlike. It detracts from the 'real' issues, like biting nails over Gallup and whether Colin Powell's endorsement is EVIL.

I swear Dems couldn't win a one-person race without a bottle of Maalox. This is why I thank God every day that Barack is in charge. He gets it. Confident and stays the course.

And, true!

The way I see this testimony thing is, it may well keep Romney out of politics for the rest of his life. Which is a good thing, IMO.

the only thing that will get people to pay attention to charade is if there is enough evidence within that document that points to Mitt Romney's tax returns, then people will become interested.

The truth is anything other than his tax returns at this point will not matter because everyone knows the guy is a liar, the media is not going to call him out on it, as we've seen, imo it will only take something of significant to overturn the subject besides all the talk right now is about Mourdock's cacophony on women, so why change that?

DU is not representative of most Democrats.

In some ways that's bad. In others it's good. Most Dems don't wring their hands over every poll or overanalyze every word our candidates say.

"It will once again expose Romney as a liar and a vulture capitalist who cannot be trusted to safeguard the welfare of American people."

Anyone who hasn't already figured this out would still trust "Mr. Christian" Romney even if he was caught taking payoffs (um, I mean big corporate donations), lying on his tax returns (um, I mean aggressively minimizing tax with offshore tax shelters), and abusing the dog for good measure (um, .... Seamus was a happy dog, right? Which is why he shat all over himself when they put him on the roof of the car for a 12 hour drive on the interstate!)
