It is simply the fact that he is the closest thing they have going for them in order to take this country back to the 1950's which they worship and believe in. I'm an ex-mormon and I know Romney's type. Harry Reid is not that type at all. Reid is the type of
mormon who practices his faith privately and does not carry the "holier than though" typical mormon
attitude around with him in his daily life. Reid respects all people of all faiths and backgrounds, which
tells me that Reid isn't sucked in completely by the cultish aspects of his religion. I'd be surprised if
he has participated in temple ceremonies other than possibly his marriage.
