that there wasn't any significant difference at all between Dubya and Gore. In fact I seem to recall Nader calling Gore a "faux environmentalist."

So Gore is now our measure of a candidate's commitment to environmentalism?

If the consequences of the 2000 selection hadn't been so devastating to so many millions of people, this turn of events might now actually be amusing.

although pushing Gore under the wheels of the HRC climate change bus seems a little harsh.

"Finger on a trajectory"? Huh?

I voted for Bernie in my primary, and I would love to see him as our candidate for president. He's flawed in some ways, but not nearly as flawed as Clinton.

However, I have little tolerance for the same BS that equated Gore with Bush. If Clinton is the nominee (and I think a lot will hinge on the outcome of the NY primary) then I'll vote for her over Trump or Cruz or whatever other homophobic misogynist racist anti-choice climate change denying ableist bigot the GOP is sure to nominate.

I don't think arguing that Clinton's environmental record is the opposite of Gore's is either justified or useful. Especially if it's used in the same way during the general that Nader's absurd comments were used in 2000.

What did Brock have to do with "Bush v. Gore"?

If he did have anything to do with it, then yeah, I'll be pissed as all hell at the man. Not that I have any great opinion of him in general. But anyone involved in that travesty should go down in history as helping to engineer one of the most destructive coups in history.

You care not to present information, but would prefer to play "gotcha."

Sorry I'm not as informed as you. It must be tough sometimes, being so much smarter and more informed than anyone else, and yet not caring to share any of this superior brain power with the rest of us ignorant proles.

"Dishonesty is not honesty." Do you mean to say you think I'm a liar?

I'm familiar with Brock's history as a hitman against the Clintons, his attack on Anita Hill, and his subsequent "conversion" from being a right wing hack.

I'm asking, what does this have to do with the disastrous consequences of the argument that Gore was a "faux environmentalist" and the subsequent devastation brought to us by the 2000 election. What was his role in "Bush v. Gore"?

It's unfortunate that your first recourse is to personal insult, but I suppose that's par for the course.
