The nice thing about being a California voter

No robo calls, no outrageous racist ads, at least in SoCal, nothing much more than
arguments for and against the Propositions which are now beyond understanding. I still rely on the League of
Women Voters, and the LA Times, still bastions of truth and honest research.
I feel for you in the Midwest and swing states. Vote early and turn off the TV.

Our mail has brought us a ton of campaign mailers.

And today I got an email from a teabagger! Disgusting. Mealy-mouthed, no clear stands. You can't really tell just where he is on the important issues.

I too like the League of Women voters and the LA Times for help on the propositions.

No nothing. All the signs are for local candidates only. I've yet to see one Obama or Romney sign.

I do think people who live in smaller towns in the Midwest can't be more openly
pro or con for a candidate, because of work, community and social ties. Sad
commentary.

about voter suppression he was suddenly interrupted with an ad by the NRA about 10 seconds long. Did that happen where you are, someone in a control room somewhere had to patch it in.

2 days now. I got a poll call Monday and nothing since. Maybe Romney has given up and Obama thinks it's in the bag I hope.

But all the proposition commercials in the San Fernando Valley. It's getting annoying but it's better than those disgusting anti Obama commercials.

but that's about it. I do get calls from various Democratic groups asking for money, but it's not constant.

My friend in Ohio said she was getting 2-3 robo calls an hour. It was driving her nuts. Last election she volunteered to phone bank but this year she decided she didn't want to contribute to the annoyance.

I kind of agree. If people don't know an election is happening by now they never will.

Not contested in the Presidential race, nobody even knows that Feinstein is running again, and the proposition load is fairly light. I'm enjoying it.
