(40,416 posts)You see. I have no access to the debate here in the Manistee National forest. So my only access is via DU. So my drinking game is on what is reported here, not on what the candidates actually say. A DUer might post that Bernie said "blah blub blah" and I might have to slurp my martini again.
But I won't know whether he actually said that until I get the YouTube of the debate a day or two later. It will be a tough evening, with the martinis and all, but I'll get through it yet again.
My best to you.

Beacool
(30,251 posts)longship
(40,416 posts)Because Hillary has absolutely no defense for her corporate donors against Bernie's millions of individual donors. Sadly, that is a cross Hillary has to bear.
Is that why her campaign stops are pay to play, often for big bucks, and Bernie's are free? Like yesterday's many thousands in Washington Square Park in NYC to see Bernie speak. Around that same time, Hillary was charging tens of thousands of dollars to sit near her at dinner co hosted by George Clooney and other exclusive celebrities. PAY TO PLAY! You want access to Hillary, you have to pay for it.
Of course, we all knew this years ago. It is what Queen Hillary did last time she ran for president. Only this time she almost never interacts with the public. That is unless they have the green backs to pay to be in her highness's presence.
It's rather disgusting, actually. And that says absolutely nothing about her political positions. Don't get me started about those.
Let's just say that Hillary Clinton is running one of the worst presidential campaigns I have ever seen. Certainly ever since the last time Hillary Clinton ran for president, which was equally horrible. Thankfully, Barack Obama won that one.
BTW, I notice that HRC attempted to hitch her horse on Obama several times in tonight's debate. I don't know what good that will do given that his approval rating is significantly higher than hers. Or... Maybe that's what she thinks she wants, or needs.
And I might add that interrupting and continually going over time in a debate is not a very idea.
