(13,877 posts)bilingual peoples are generally smarter then those which only have one language. More brain synapses used.
I'm a teacher who taught ESL kids in L.A. County and I agree with the research. These kids tried harder, less discipline was needed and the parents were eager to help.
This isn't a grammar, punctuation and spelling board. Nor is it a one-up site to feel superior.

(2,101 posts)If one procured the services of a specific corporate sweetheart, that sweetheart would not take offense with the label. OTOH, a corporate whore may become offended and refuse further services.

(4,711 posts)Once you've selected a winner, work with them to draw up a contract. You'll need to determine how many years in the base, plus any option years, and what level of staffing you're looking for. As always, there are penalties for withdrawing early.
