You know nothing about demographics.
Or you can just make up a lie. That's what most BSers do.

(77,086 posts)..... and I haven't seen one Hillary sticker. Bernie stickers and signs everywhere. I've seen more "Harbaugh for President" signs than Hillary ones.

(5,275 posts)it's a proven fact...i've read it on DU many times....and i know it's true because the same people keep posting it over and over...they wouldn't do that if it wasn't true, would they?

(6,007 posts)I think what her "events" are called is fund raisers. Bernie has rallies and Hillary has fund raisers.
You have to have LOTS of money to go to Hillary's "events".
All you need is motivation to attend Bernie's.

(19,089 posts)Yet ... I'm voting for Bernie ... Go figure!
Maybe we should take up a collection for the poor, pitiful Hillary supporters, slaving away for crumbs of bread and a taste of bitter vetches ....
One might wonder how all those struggling Hillary supporters can cough up $27'00 each for those Hillary fundraisers ...

(15,951 posts)it isn't helping close the gap in either the popular or delegate vote and it will be even worse for Bernie after New York.

(23,018 posts)And it's already been shown many places where the DNC is Funnelling "down-stream" fundraising by Camp Hillary back into her campaign...

(15,480 posts)Typically, the DSCC has not funded at the primary level, put supported the winners of Dem. primaries.
In Pennsylvania, where independent-of-Dem.machine Senate candidate (retired Navy Admiral and former U.S. Congressman) Joe Sestak is 16 points ahead of his opponent, DSCC just vomited $1.5 million of out of state money into his (pro-fracking, censured by state ethics committee for her funneling several millions of state money/contracts to her husband's employers) opponent's campaign in hopes of buying the election via ads.
But, hey! she's endorsed Hillary, and Sestak hasn't, so we progressives should just STFU. (sarcasm)
Glad to report that the state's two biggest newspapers in Phillie and Pittsburgh, have endorsed Sestak for Senate!

(15,480 posts)Oh yes, the DSCC knows better than the state party - why even bother to have state democratic organizations if the grand poobahs in DC ignore them?
http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2016/03/05/pa-democratic-state-committee-not-endorsing-any-senate-candidates/
HERSHEY, Pa. (AP) Pennsylvanias Democratic Party committee members went through a divisive process of buttonholing, cajoling and promising on Saturday but ultimately could not deliver endorsements in contested primary races for U.S. senator and state attorney general.
As a result, the candidates will run without the partys explicit backing in the April 26 primary election to pick nominees to challenge Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey and keep a Democrat in the attorney generals office since the embattled Democrat Kathleen Kane is not seeking re-election.
The partys endorsement does not guarantee a nomination, but it can plug a candidate into fundraising and volunteer networks and provides a useful campaign slogan as the party-endorsed candidate.

(4,465 posts)He has endorsed Hillary in the past. He is a bit of a quirky guy ( good fellow tho) . I have voted for Joe in his previous Senate run. He lost to Senator Toomey before tho, so I think they want a fresh face.
Divernan
(15,480 posts)and despite being outspent by Toomey 4 to 1. And that was in a year the GOP was wiping the floor with Dem candidates nationwide. You say he's quirky?!?!? Oh yeah, he made it as 2nd in his class at Annapolis and a Ph.D. from Harvard and achieving 3 star admiral rank and commanding a fleet of ships, not to mention advising President Bill Clinton because he was "quirky"!
Washington's problem with Joe is that he's honest and has integrity - 2 qualities that make career politicians and bureaucrats squirm!
He got pushed aside by a new New Secretary of the Navy when he opposed MIC boondoggles, and declared outside the establishment fold when he refused to end his campaign so Clinton could push Arlen Specter onto Pennsylvanians as a faux Democrat.
He would make an outstanding Senator. We are lucky that a man of his caliber and character has chosen to run. McGinty doesn't stand a chance in hell of beating Toomey - not with her checkered past in state politics.
