2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumTo hell with Kasee Hunt of MSNBC
Sanders has a huge rally, and she calls it a "swan song" for his campaign.
Media Oligarchy in action.

(8,541 posts)Like how Albright said women are going to hell if they voted for Bernie. I didn't blame Hillary for any of that.

(41,168 posts)and disparaging of Bernie's campaign that she's assigned to cover. She's bored, unpleasant and clearly wants to be in the office with the big kids like Steve Kornachi, Chuck Toad, etc. They should assign Kasie to Kasich! and give Bernie's beat to Kristen Welker who seems like a fair, bright journalist.
Kasie Hunt, MSNBC
Kristin Welker, NBC/MSNBC

(169 posts)They were the "liberal" channel, yet they have been more biased than any other channel in this primary. I will never watch or support them again. Their already terrible ratings are only getting worse I am sure.

(751 posts)She was not bad at the beginning but lately just negative personal commentary. If she is supposed to be journalist embedded in the Sanders campaign she should stick to facts and not make opinionated remarks.

(4,775 posts)I once watched Woodruff interviewing Aristide of Haiti as a coup was actually in progress. It was quite obvious that he didn't want to leave and was being forcefully put on a U.S. helicopter by our military to get him away from his seat of power. Woodruff ignored this and reported it as him being removed by the altruistic U.S. for his protection.
It was years ago so I can't explain it as well as it deserves, but it left a lasting impact on me, I felt as though it was one of those rare instances where the forces of deception were on full display, and wondered if she was actually in te employ of the C.I.A.
To this day I can't look at her without remembering her false reporting as that event was ongoing, it was shocking, and a real wake-up experience for me, I have never looked at MSM news reports the same since.
I don't know Hunt's politics but he is one of the ultimate establishment insider reporters.
Anyway, tells me a lot about Kasie Hunt, thanks.

(1,446 posts)from Obama's rallies. The Obama rallies were full of optimism and hope. People were looking forward to a bright future. The Sander's rally was full of vitriol and hate. I heard anti-Hillary chants and anger. It was such an obvious difference. If ever a revolution was needed, it was in 2008...coming after 8 years of W. There was reason to be angry then, but instead Obama managed to turn it into anticipation and expectation that he would make things better. That is what winners do. Anger is a sign of a failed effort.
