I wasn't. I wanted Elizabeth Warren to run but when it became clear she wasn't I had to move on. Bernie had almost zero name brand recognition.

We will see if enough voters were informed of the deadline and planned accordingly. Regardless, that deadline date is ridiculous.

Democratic.

As in, nominate a DEMOCRAT for president.

I really don't see why independents want in on the show or how they justify their outrage when the Democrats don't bend over backwards to accommodate them.

I find it amazing that so many who adore Sanders:

  • Hate every aspect of the Democratic leadership
  • Despise the rules BUT
  • Claim to be unaffiliated or independent.

Then why the HELL are you trying to wedge into the Democratic Party?

You are witnessing the Democratic party evolving right before your eyes.

I actually play by the rules but that doesn't mean I can't criticize them.

But the incessant whining that unaffiliated/independent voters cannot vote Dem is ridiculous.

It's the same mindset that Sanders has when the superdelegates are turning their back on him -- he has done NOTHING for the Democrats in 35 years, groans and moans about the corrupt party establishment, and then wants that same party establishment to forget the past and hoist him on their shoulders?

If you want to change the Party, change it from the inside.

Honest question. I don't know that answer but if they do join and never leave I don't see the problem.

To say that Bernie hasn’t done anything for the Democrats in 35 years is just false.
