Trump, Clinton officially win Missouri

Politico:

Nearly a month after voters cast their ballots, the primary results in Missouri have finally been made official, and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton can add the state to their list of wins.

On Tuesday, Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander tweeted: “This morning I certified the presidential preference primary. @HillaryClinton and @realDonaldTrump have officially won Missouri.”

In the finally tally, Trump pipped Texas Sen. Ted Cruz by just 0.2 percentage points — 40.9 percent to Cruz’s 40.7. The billionaire will receive 25 delegates to Cruz’s 15. Ohio Gov. John Kasich will receive none.

On the Democratic side, the former secretary of state also led Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also by 0.2 percentage points — 49.6 percent to his 49.4. Each candidate will receive 34 delegates, but with superdelegates included, Clinton will have 46.
