I'm married to a woman with blond hair, does that mean I can make 'dumb blond' jokes?

Of course not, it would still be sexist as hell.

Isn't that basically the only argument the Clinton die hards have right now? De Blasio is married to an African American so he 'gets a pass' on making a blatantly racist joke.

Oh yeah, just to take this all the way, my kid has blond hair as well. Guess what, still come off as a sexist assbag if I make anti-woman jokes or 'dumb blond' jokes. My marriage doesn't grant me a right to be a mysoginist any more than De Blasio's grants him immunity from racism.

Most of the Clinton supporters in this thread are hypocrites about this. If you tell them that too vehemently you will just get a hide. They would of course be frothing at the mouth if Sanders had done this. We all know it. They know it. But the difference is they really just don't give a shit.

Tue Apr 12, 2016, 12:53 AM

It was not a racist joke. People like you have never heard CPT until now and you are already to call the joke racist because of Hillary Clinton. This is a joke that I've used before and I've heard other black people use it. I'd imagine that he got it from his wife, because it's one of the most insular jokes that there is. FYI, I don't think dumb blonde jokes are really gender specific, but whatever you want to believe, that is your view.

The point of the skit is one of the oldest and most common jokes there are; One person says something that might sound inappropriate to another, but the person really means something innocuous. The outrage isn't about the joke, it's about the source. Bernie Sanders and Susan Sarandon could have done the same skit without anyone being outraged. Real talk.

Disclaimer: on the one hand, I'm really white, so that could explain my cluelessness. On the other hand, I'm totally pro-Bernie, so I should be foaming at the mouth about Hillary's cluelessness. I'm going with Mr Odom and my gut, which is saying the media needs to fill air time.
