It's random bullsh*t that you think will hurt Hillary Clinton's chances if enough people and the media make a big deal out of it.

It's just as dumb and pointless as the whole "vaticangate" crap that some of my fellow (but short-sighted) Hillary Clinton supporters are touting because they think it will hurt him.

I hate that the primary has devolved into this...and there's plenty of blame to spread around for it.

but let's be honest...the joke was only slightly cringeworthy considering the context and the participants.

So you're equating Bill DeBlasio who is in a committed marriage with a woman who happens to be african american with whom he has two children, with Strom Thurmond who hid his african american daughter from the public his entire life, a daughter whom he had with one of his parent's house servants?

Take a step back and realize how ridiculous that statement is!

Strom Thurmond was a racist because of his pro-segregationist views...that's not anywhere close to Bill DeBlasio and Hillary Clinton delivering a slightly tone-deaf but highly-scripted joke.

I can't believe I'm even allowing myself to be baited into this ridiculous conversation!
