You obviously have no clue what the establishment is. Let me fill you in - it's the people in charge of the party and the process. If he is elected President, he would automatically becomes the head of the party and the process, i.e., the head of the establishment. He is no longer the outsider at that point in time.

"The establishment" in the context that has been discussed ad nauseum from DU to the MSM doesn't just mean who's in charge, but who's been in charge for decades and has corrupted the system.

"The establishment" has almost ruined American democracy.

Either way, it's still the establishment. He can clean house at the DNC by installing all new personnel and eliminating superdelegates if he wishes. Or he can leave everything in place. He can change how the party fundraises or he can leave the current system in place. He can throw his support behind candidates he wants in office or he can tacitly approve of the people presently in office which you feel are corrupting the system.

In short, he can either take action to create a new establishment or he can leave things alone. Either way, he would be the person in charge of the establishment, thus effectively becoming the establishment himself.

So many people here consider him to be infallible and refuse to acknowledge he makes mistakes (of which there have been several massive ones). Many also seem to think he's the magical solution to every problem we face which is also an impossible burden for him to bear. Those things among others are clearly indicative of what I am saying.

don't be surprised if all the party apparatchiks come out
for her. The same is true for all the M$M.

They must feel the need to do so, I think.

The only one I criticize for it is the POTUS,
who claimed that he would stay neutral. Then
again he has interfered in states' primaries
before. Thus nothing new.

It's a little different when you read it in context:

(CNN)Vice President Joe Biden said Monday that both Democratic candidates are "totally qualified" to become the next president, adding that he would "like to see a woman elected."

Biden made his comments during an interview with Mic, which focused on the vice president's efforts against sexual assault.
When asked whether Sanders' remarks about Clinton's qualification and judgment were tantamount to sexism, the Vice President responded with an emphatic "no."

He went on to add that Sanders' approach contrasts sharply with the rhetorical style of GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

Biden said he views both Democratic candidates as qualified, terming the war of words between them just part of the campaign.
"Look, they're both totally qualified to be president," Biden said. "They both get in a fight. Campaigns do this."
The vice president pointed out that Sanders did not say Clinton is "not qualified because she's a woman."
Biden also brushed aside the notion that Clinton is held to a higher standard because she's a woman.
"No, I don't think she's held to a higher standard. This country's ready for a woman. There's no problem. We're going to be able to elect a woman in this country," Biden said, adding, "I would like to see a woman elected."
He continued, "Hillary's overwhelmingly qualified to be president."

Biden is not a huge fan of Hillary's. I'll do a post about that one of these days I've been a fan of Joe's since 2004.

Tue Apr 12, 2016, 01:50 AM

(1) Rail against "The Establishment" as being the source of all of the nation's woes.

(2) Identify anyone who doesn't support him as being part of "The Establishment".

(3) Watch his supporters turn against "The Establishment" - i.e. anyone who doesn't support Bernie.

(4) Count the donations pouring in as a result of his courage in speaking out against "The Establishment" - i.e. anyone who doesn't support Bernie.

It was a shell game from the start.
