I live in Norfolk, VA, a Navy town, and just received a Robocall from Mitt, himself!
Wish I could tell you what he said, but all I heard was his voice, in a very serious tone, starting right off with something about "navy ships" and I couldn't bear anymore, not after last night, thus, slammed the phone down.
In retrospect, wish I'd had the foresight to listen to what he had to say so I could report it, but apparently he's battening down the hatches in this Navy town! I live in a predominately Repug area, however, the main Obama headquarters is but a mile away and I drive by daily and, always, the parking lot is full and I see lots of activity going on there. So a great effort being made in this Navy town! I'm going to a training session there tomorrow (to be a Poll Runner and also a driver for any elderly or disabled person who may call asking for a ride to the polls).
It's a good feeling to participate in pushing back the regression and oppression, no matter how small the effort, it all adds up - just like positing here - it is doing something!
