You should count yourself lucky for even being permitted to imagine it.

For sake of argument let me grant your assumption that Hillary will have more pledged delegates going into the convention. If she arrived at the convention with Bernie having won 20 of the final 25 states, this is a YUGE problem for the Party. Even if Hillary can hold together the support of the Party hacks, there will be a major question how to deal with the roughly half of the Democratic voters who do not support Hillary.

It becomes a real numbers problem, especially if the GOP finds a way to get Trump out of the way. Hillary might attract a few Republican women, but she alienates millions of people. This just doesn't work. The only way Hillary can get elected is if the Bernie base supports her, and she isn't doing anything these days to help that along.

Tell us how you think Hillary can get elected. Tell us how the numbers can work.

I voted for Hillary in '08. but I still supported Obama in the GE.

Before that I supported Howard Dean, Bill Bradley, and a host of other losers. Never did those votes imply a lack of support for the other candidates.

Up until recently Bernie had to rely heavily on independents to win with open primaries or caucuses. While Hillary pulled the lion share of Democrats.

That's not the case anymore.

This is why Hillary's delegate lead is in jeopardy.

It would have been nice to see Bernie win WY by a larger margin, but considering it was a closed caucus with wonky rules, I'd say it's a solid result.
