For the sake of what democracy we have left, the role the NY Times, the Washington Post

etc., have been playing in this election cycle needs to be exposed.

They are not a part of the 4th estate. They are surrogates for the Clinton campaign who will lie repeatedly to prop her up and tear down her opponent.

It is takes experienced reporters who can invest a lot of time in major stories and be reasonably compensated for it. The lack of investigative journalism is helping the 0.1%. Newsrooms don't have an adequate number of experienced reporters to cover city hall, state governments, Congress, etc. I don't think the Clintons could have gotten away with the Clinton Foundation 40 years ago.
