Seriously, Why does the media take Trump seriously?

What is with this vendetta against President Obama? For years he tried to fan the birther flames without one shred of evidence and now he supposedly has some kind of 'bombshell' announcement. This is how it was reported on Political Wire:

Donald Trump told Fox News that he'll reveal "very big" news about President Obama by Wednesday but declined to give any hints about his plan.

Said Trump: "Something very, very big concerning the president of the United States. It's going to be very big. I know one thing -- you will cover it in a very big fashion."

Is it racial? Can he not stand the fact that an accomplished Black man is President of the USA. What is it that Obama did to bug this self-absorbed idiot? Probably didn't return a call or something.

My guess--Remember the Correspondents dinner when Obama publicly made short order of 'The Donald'? lampooned his birther claims hilariously. That Trump doesn't have a sense of humor is evident. I think nobody mocks 'The Donald' and gets away with it. So ever since Trump has been working hard to find whatever dirt he could on Obama and failing that digging up some asshole from Obama's past with promises of riches as long as this person provides real or imagined dirt on Obama.

What will happen? When nobody other than FAUX NEWS gives a damn and the country sympathizes with Obama. 'The Donald' will have yet another temper tantrum. In the process I hope it helps bring down 'The Good-ship Romney', too.
