Villains? Does anyone ever say Donald Trump cackles? Nah.

(2,353 posts)You are obsessed with making everything sexist...
Does Donald Trump every laugh loudly and in a fake manner? I don't have cable so I don't hear much about him... But all the coverage on progressive internet like Young Turks I've never seen him laughing.

Not surprising.

Every time someone on this board challenges you, they are put on ignore. It's your loss, because we can still reply to your thousands of negative posts----and you'll apparently have nothing to say.

I don't personally use ignore but the above few posts by you have made it clear to me that there is no reason for me to take you seriously(least not until election season is over, people tends to change during em)

(27,247 posts)I don't know. But who else laughs like Clinton, especially when she describes how Gaddafi was ousted or how some people in Iran would welcome a war? It's the facial expressions and the way she laughs at things like that that remind people of movie villains, like The Joker that was mentioned elsewhere on this thread.

As for Donald Trump, does he ever even laugh? He smirks a lot, though.

(8,812 posts)No, if I said "giggles" you might have a point.
But keep doing your best to distract from the key point, which is this:
When Clinton is asked a tough question, instead of answering, she responds with an almost maniacal laugh.
How's that? "An almost maniacal laugh"? Better?

I've NEVER heard a mans laugh described as a cackle. Maniacal, cold, evil but never cackle.
I'm not one to jump on the 'sexist' train either. I've often gotten myself into trouble for doing just the opposite.

(10,279 posts)oil shale. In NC, that means that I'm venerable to having my well water ruined. There is nothing I can do if the companies can form a pool of neighbors large enough to give consent for drilling. If the drilling companies wreck my well water, I have no legal recourse. My property would become almost worthless. Thanks for that laugh, Hillary.

(10,279 posts)want to drill our property, all they have to is configure a collection of owners to form a pool that meets the requirements to give consent for that pool's land. The fall in oil and gas prices is giving us relief. Some companies have died, overall leasing has stopped, and leases are expiring all over NC. Next, there is the hope that Bernie is elected and our property rights are restored. Our problem extends from Pres. Obama (took fractin' money) and Congress (took fractin' money) supporting the fractin' companies and not giving the land owners any form of compensation for damages. The NC Republican governor and legislature and some DINOs took money from the companies and gave them sweetheart laws. I feel sorry for the land owners who have been screwed. For us, it looks like a race between green energy and the fractin' companies.

The Problem With Hillary Clinton Isnt Just Her Corporate Cash. Its Her Corporate Worldview.
Clinton is uniquely unsuited to the epic task of confronting the fossil-fuel companies that profit from climate change.
While Clinton is great at warring with Republicans, taking on powerful corporations goes against her entire worldview, against everything shes built, and everything she stands for. The real issue, in other words, isnt Clintons corporate cash, its her deeply pro-corporate ideology: one that makes taking money from lobbyists and accepting exorbitant speech fees from banks seem so natural that the candidate is openly struggling to see why any of this has blown up at all.
To understand this worldview, one need look no further than the foundation at which Hillary Clinton works and which bears her family name. The mission of the Clinton Foundation can be distilled as follows: There is so much private wealth sloshing around our planet (thanks in very large part to the deregulation and privatization frenzy that Bill Clinton unleashed on the world while president), that every single problem on earth, no matter how large, can be solved by convincing the ultra-rich to do the right things with their loose change. Naturally, the people to convince them to do these fine things are the Clintons, the ultimate relationship brokers and dealmakers, with the help of an entourage of A-list celebrities.
So lets forget the smoking guns for the moment. The problem with Clinton World is structural. Its the way in which these profoundly enmeshed relationshipslubricated by the exchange of money, favors, status, and media attentionshape what gets proposed as policy in the first place.

(2,565 posts)There's fracking going on all around me where I live in North Texas.
In parallel I now get horrible headaches several times a month - occasionally nose bleeds also. Coincinding and increasing worse as more fracking sites are added.
Of course the Oil & Gas supporters say nothing to worry about. Hillary sure doesn't have anything to worry about, she doesn't live in the midst of it.
What's worse is the fracking could occur in less populated states like Wyoming, in land where there is sparse population, if any. However that would be more expensive to transport then right out of Texas - so of course money rules. No compromise even discussed.
Frack Hillary!
