I always like a standard for others that the person can't live up to themselves. Is the argument against him that breaking them up is impossible (which it isn't), or that he doesn't know the exact mechanics of how it would happen? Such a stupid talking point. Maybe this is news to the people supporting the corrupt candidate in the lead, but presidents hire people to work through the mechanics, and they are experts in the field (someone like Bill Back, Kelton's colleague at UMKC, might be a good choice for this) and focus on big picture stuff. He isn't saying that buildings float on air and the corrupt, right wing mag that was interviewing him got things factually incorrect (I suspect on purpose) when discussing how the banks would be broken up.

So, what is the universal standard for specificity we should expect from these two candidates moving forward. Are we expecting the same level of specifics in regards to Clinton improving the ACA?

Because many of you don't know this - but back in those days HIV was a very difficult subject, and Ronald and Nancy Reagan really led the way by starting the national conversation ... I mispoke, so here is a twitter-line ... OK, I will make a speech, free of the customary $650,000 fee: the Reagans don't deserve that distinction (please nobody notice that they actually deserve the opposite distinction and I look completely oblivious about LGBT issues) but I lost people too so that makes it alright now let's talk about straight and heteronormative people in Africa and most importantly: let's talk about me and my awesome qualifications to be president.

...and never, to my knowledge, asked of Clinton. I suppose that's what happens when you have big ideas. He's got answers, some people don't like them, but at least they're answers. What does Clinton have? Nice words? Incrementalism (how will she get the same congress that voted to eliminate the ACA 60+ times to make it better, anyway?)?

I look at the websites of both of them (really the best place to get their actual proposals) and it seems to me that Sanders ideas of re-orienting the priorities of our tax dollars is really the best way to go about getting it all done. Hillary just isn't realistic and is actually the candidate talking about paying for things solely by taxing the wealthy. That's the most unrealistic thing that's been put out there this season and she's gotten away with it with no pushback.

All smoke and mirrors. How would he break the banks? How would he get single payer passed through Congress? How would he get free tuition for college students? Poof, we'll just have a political revolution. According to him, there will be masses of people outside McConnell's window clamoring to pass whatever Sanders proposed.

Talk about selling a bill of goods to his supporters, no wonder most of them are young.
