Last night Bernie Sanders upped the verbal war between the two candidates fighting for the Democratic presidential nomination by calling Hillary Clinton "unqualified to be president," after he accused the former Secretary of State of saying the same thing about himself.

This morning, Hillary Clinton responded to Sanders' claims to reporters in front of Yankee stadium by saying it was "kind of a silly thing to say," and then went on to praise him over the Republican candidates.

"Look, I didn’t — I don’t know why he’s saying that. But I will take Bernie Sanders over Donald Trump or Ted Cruz any time. So let’s keep our eye on what’s really at stake in this election," Clinton reminded.

"We have Republicans whose values are so antithetical to what’s right for New York, or what’s right for America. And I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing, with my friends like the borough president and other for all these years to try to really make a difference in people's lives."
